Audacious College Placements

!Audacious College offers a ministry placement to every full time student to learn practically and grow spiritually alongside our leaders and teams to be outworked a minimum of one day per week plus our Sunday Teams.
Please note; Prior to a placement confirmation there is an interview process for all students to help us gain understanding of your gifts and maximise your placement.

Pastoral Leadership

We have 5 ministry areas in which you can choose to spend your practical placement – Kids, Youth, Young Adults & Students, Ministry to Adults and Well-being. Pastoral Leadership is for those who desire to work with people, to see them grow through pastoral care, discipleship and by coming alongside others to meet practical, emotional and physical needs. In essence, pastoral leaders build the Church at a grassroots level.

A growing kids ministry will grow the Church, and we place value on every child and family that comes through our doors. Immersed in our Kids’ team, you will have the opportunity to support our incredible Children’s Pastors in building children’s ministry. At !Audacious we do this through our Sunday programme, our world class online productions, small groups and pastoral care for children and their families. Serve and lead our kids’ Sunday services, get creative with curriculum planning and be involved in our epic camp – an annual favourite!
!Audacious Church began started life as a youth movement and the dynamism and future-focus of young people has always influenced what we do, and our care and discipleship of young people has always been at the centre of what we do, as well as how we praise! Our investment into youth is no less dynamic. Play your part in our ever-growing !Audacious Youth Team, supporting our brilliant Youth Pastors. You will be at the heart of transforming the lives of teenagers through our weekly programmes and services, small groups, mentoring, schools ministry and annual camp! Never a dull moment as you take your place in leading this dynamic and exciting youth ministry.
If you have a desire to see young adults and university students impacted with the Gospel, then this ministry is for you. The years between 18 and 30 present for us all the potential for big change; life-defining decisions, crossroads in career and questions of faith, future and family. You will be a vital part of the YA team supporting our YA and Student Pastors, helping to build a healthy 18-30s community who love Jesus and stand together as they navigate the early part of adulthood.
As part of the Adults Pastoral Team you will gain experience in church life and leadership from the pastoral staff, varying from our ‘New to Church’ and ‘New to Faith’ initiatives, through our robust discipleship programme for adults from all walks of life, that encompasses thousands of people across our locations. This includes our fantastic Small Groups structure. If you care about people, and building the Church through discipleship, then we want to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about the intersection of faith, mental health and well-being. You will gain first-hand experience of working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of experts that is seeking to devise and deliver initiatives to help alleviate mental distress and strengthen individuals’ well-being.
This includes our successful !Audacious Well-being Course and our Extraordinary Freedom sessions.

Missional Leadership

If evangelism to the local community is your passion then take this incredible opportunity to work alongside our Missions Director. Immerse yourself in our missionally-minded culture and gain a wealth of experience through your involvement in our multi-site invitational events and by facilitating our annual missions trips in both the UK and overseas.

Audacious Foundation

This placement will focus on serving some of the most vulnerable people within the local community; You will be the boots on the ground when it comes to reaching those most in need, spending a year of your life like no other. We reach out to those experiencing homelessness, social isolation, food and fuel poverty as well as non-nativeEnglish speakers. You will be making a difference through our long-running projects such as weekly A-teams outreach, Audacious Care Solutions, Re-work, Audacious School of Language and other community initiatives such as Stop Holiday Hunger. You will gain insight and experience into all aspects of the Foundation including operations, programme development and volunteer management. You will also be hands-on within our in-house missional events such as The Big Give

Church planting

This is an exciting new opportunity for those passionate about building the local church, seeing communities changed and lives transformed through grassroots church planting.
You will work alongside our church planting team, travelling to new campuses and locations to support the teams on the ground as they develop, grow and creatively solve problems, gaining vast experience at the cutting edge of church expansion. If your vision for the future involves planting or leading a new church plant then there’s no better way to learn than on-the-job!

Creative Department

Our world-class creative department produces everything from the live Sunday experience to printed flyers, recorded albums, Christmas shows, music videos, schools content, magazines, social media content, decor for events and in-house artwork. Our growing creative team strives for excellence, God-inspired creativity and next-level thinking. We have placements available in a number of areas for those with some existing skills, experience or training.

Work alongside our experienced graphic designers to produce social media content, large and small scale print, on-screen Sunday graphics and more. This is a fast-paced environment where you will get lots of experience from a wide range of creative briefs. Your application will require a portfolio submission.
Our media department creates hundreds of videos every year, from music videos and creative story pieces to short social media promos. We are looking for people with some experience or training in camera operation, editing (Adobe Premiere Pro), producing or production co-ordination to join us. The application will require a showreel or CV of projects worked on.
Our performing arts department works predominantly around the major events of church, creating conference openers, annual shows, dance items and sometimes video pieces. We also have opportunities to support our kids’ ministry with their world-class music projects and in our developing schools outreach programmes. We have placements for experienced dancers to train and perform in projects and events throughout the year. Your application will require a video or live audition.
Our Production team uses sound, video and lighting technologies to help realise the vision and ideas of our Creative Department. Their expertise and knowledge are key to creating an atmosphere for people to encounter God and hear the gospel. We have a placement available for someone to come alongside our production staff and volunteers to learn and grow in the art of production. Projects will include annual conferences, music projects, video shoots and live streams as well as working on our regular church events.

Applicants should have some knowledge/experience in Production Technologies (Sound, Lighting, Video, Broadcast etc.)

In our fast-paced, multi-disciplinary department we are always looking for support in project coordination and administration. This role would suit someone looking to go into TV or theatre production, or even events management.

Learn what it takes to pull together a full show, an on-location video shoot or live event. You will work alongside our creative department heads to help facilitate projects. This will be a whirlwind of a year but expect to learn a lot! The application will be by interview and CV of experience.

Operations & Management

A. Events & Sunday Management:

This placement is for those who thrive off project management, organisation and administration. You will have the opportunity to work with our events and Sunday operations teams, gaining insight into the day-to-day systems that make a church work, as well as assisting in the running of our annual big events and conferences

B. Finance Operations:

If you care about good financial stewardship and have a head for numbers then this placement is for you.You will gain a wealth of experience through assisting our CFO and finance team, upskilling practically in our central offices whilst learning how to operate within a broad spectrum of financial structures and day-to-day management of budgets, keeping a church moving forward to achieve all that God has in store.
